Iowa Secretary of Agriculture Mike Naig presented the 2024 Renewable Fuels Marketing Awards to Hy-Vee and Reil Oil Co. during the FUELIowa legislative conference on Jan. 9 in Des Moines. Hy-Vee, which sells a variety of ethanol-blended fuels at 85 Fast & Fresh locations throughout the state, was awarded the Ethanol Marketing Award. Burlington-based Reif Oil Co. was awarded the Biodiesel Marketing Award for offering an increasing number of biodiesel blends to its retail and wholesale customers in the Midwest. “Not only are we proudly leading the nation in ethanol and biodiesel production, but we have many great retailers across the state, including Hy-Vee and Reif Oil Co., who are providing consumers with more options and significant cost savings on every fill-up of these homegrown biofuels,” Naig said in a press release.
