Seneca Cos. gets Quad-City airport contract
Seneca Cos. Inc. of Des Moines has been awarded a $4.5 million fuel farm project at the Quad-City International Airport. Seneca’s bid was recently selected by the Rock Island County (Ill.) Metropolitan Airport Authority to replace the airport’s aging fuel tank storage, which provides fueling services for commercial carriers. Construction is expected to begin this month, with winter weather playing a big role in determining a date of completion.
