Six Iowa long-term care facilities receive national awards
Six Iowa long-term care and post-acute care facilities have been recognized by the American Health Care Association and National Center for Assisted Living with the 2019 Silver — Commitment to Quality Award, among them Silvercrest at the Woodlands in Clive. The award is the second of three distinctions possible (Bronze, Silver and Gold) through the AHCA/NCAL National Quality Awards program, which spotlights providers across the nation that have demonstrated their dedication to improving the quality of care for residents and patients in long-term and post-acute care. Earlier this month, Iowa ranked first in the nation for receiving the most Bronze Quality awards in 2019, with 45 Iowa organizations receiving the awards. Winners of the 2019 Gold – Excellence in Quality Award will be announced in the coming months. To see the list of Iowa award winners, click here.
