The ISU Pappajohn Center for Entrepreneurship, the Ames Chamber of Commerce and America’s Small Business Development Center at Iowa State are co-hosting a free workshop aimed at members of the public interested in establishing their own small business. Participants who register for one or both sessions of the Smart Start workshop will learn about the logistics of founding a business, including insurance, intellectual property, legal requirements, banking and other topics.
