The exhibition, part of the Museum on Main Street program, highlights how small towns across the United States have harnessed innovation to overcome challenges and revitalize their neighborhoods. It will feature stories from over 30 rural communities, including photographs, interactive activities, objects and videos to illustrate themes of social, artistic, technological and cultural innovation. The exhibition, which is open 2-7 p.m. Monday through Friday, is open to the public. “‘Spark!’ allows us to reflect on Newton’s history, present and future,” Erin Chambers, community development director for the city of Newton, said in a prepared statement. “We’re excited to use this opportunity to convene conversations about innovation in our own community and explore what the future holds for Newton.” For more information, visit the city of Newton’s website.
