Speakers announced for 2023 Global Insurance Symposium
Keynote speakers and panels for the 2023 Global Insurance Symposium April 18-20 have been announced. The theme of this year’s conference is “Thriving in a Changing World.”
The three-day event will feature keynote addresses from three global insurance leaders:
Lard Friese, CEO and chairman of the Executive Management Board, Aegon N.V.
Will Fuller, president and CEO of Transamerica.
Peter Gailliot, managing director, global CIO of the Financial Institutions Group, and head of fixed income for FIG Portfolio Management.
“We are excited to welcome some of the most prominent names and thought leaders within the global insurance industry as headliners at this year’s event,” Greater Des Moines Partnership President and CEO Jay Byers said in a prepared statement. “This year’s presenters, convening in the hub of the U.S. insurance industry, will be covering an array of critical topics impacting Symposium attendees and their companies as well as the future of the insurance industry.”
Several panels will offer insights on a range of insurance topics. The panels include:
– CEO Panel, moderated by Doug Ommen, insurance commissioner of Iowa.
– Global Panel, moderated by Christine Holmes, partner, EY.
– Commissioners Panel, moderated by Patrick Hughes, partner, Faegre Drinker.
– InsurTech Founder Panel, including panelists Manish Bhatt, CEO and co-founder of Plum Life, and Bill Suneson, CEO of Bindable.
