Market research company State Public Policy Group announced it has rebranded to Horizon Group. The new name reflects the organization’s “commitment to guiding clients through their entire journey, akin to the cycle of sunrise and sunset along the horizon,” the release said. The company leads coalitions such as Capital Crossroads and works with partners like the Greater Des Moines Partnership and Community Foundation of Greater Des Moines. Founded in 1984 with a focus on public policy, Horizon Group expanded its market research capabilities by acquiring Essman Research in 2017, the release said. President and Owner Jackie Norris bought the company in 2020.
