Springfield Plastics, a plastic pipe manufacturer based in Iowa and Illinois, has donated more than $27,000 to the John Stoddard Cancer Center in Des Moines through its Drain for the Cure fundraiser, marking the second consecutive year of support. The funds will aid the young adult cancer program at the health care facility, designed to address the unique needs of cancer patients aged 15 to 39 and improve their survival rates. Springfield’s Drain for the Cure initiative has donated over $850,000 to cancer research since its inception 10 years ago.
