The State Historical Society of Iowa board of trustees has issued a call for nominations for a member to serve on its 11-person board. The organization is a division of the Iowa Department of Cultural Affairs. Nominations can be submitted by any person, but nominees must be members of the State Historical Society of Iowa and willing to attend four meetings per year and serve on various committees. Nominations must be received in the Historical Society’s office or postmarked by March 15. The term begins July 1.
