Storey-Kenworthy Co., a Des Moines-based office interior and products company, has entered into a final agreement to acquire Matt Parrott and Sons Co., an office supply and printing company with headquarters in Waterloo and an additional location in Cedar Rapids. Storey-Kenworthy’s nearly 125 staff members and Matt Parrott and Sons’ 42 employees were all notified earlier. This is the second acquisition of its kind in family-owned Storey-Kenworthy’s nearly 75-year history. No immediate changes in operations are anticipated. Dave Buck, who has led Matt Parrott and Sons for more than 30 years, will remain on board through elements of the transition period.
