Substance Architecture honored for Principal Riverwalk Pavilion
The American Institute of Architects has named Substance Architecture one of seven recipients of its Small Projects award. The Des Moines-based firm won in a category for projects under $1.5 million in construction costs. The Riverwalk Pavilion “was conceived as a crystalline space resting at the prow of a gently sloping, boat-shaped plaza formed by the adjacent trails, streets and promenades,” according to a release.
