Terry Branstad’s speeding SUV. The court this month granted former Division of Criminal Investigation agent Larry Hedlund’s request to appeal a key ruling while the rest of the case is on hold. At issue is whether the state should have a public policy that protects police officers from losing their jobs for trying to enforce the law.
