Survey: Apartment rents in Des Moines inch upward
Apartments in Des Moines in January rented for an average $902, up $6 from a year ago, a new survey by RentCafe.com shows. The state’s fastest growing rents in January were in Council Bluffs, where average monthly rental rates increased by 6.5% year-over-year, or by $55. Urbandale apartments saw the second-highest annual increase, jumping 4.7%. Read the survey.
