Target Corp. will pay $39 million to settle litigation brought by banks and other credit card issuers after the retailer’s data breach in 2013, the Minneapolis Star Tribune reported. The settlement closes out the last major litigation tied to the breach in which cyber thieves gained access to personal data of 40 million Target customers.
