The Greater Des Moines Partnership announced today that Tiffany Tauscheck will become the organization’s new chief communications officer.
Tauscheck comes to the Partnership from her current role as vice president of marketing and development with the Greater Des Moines Convention and Visitors Bureau and Des Moines Area Sports Commission.
She succeeds Susan Ramsey, who left the Partnership in February. In this position, Tauscheck will lead the communications and marketing strategies in support of the Partnership’s mission to drive regional economic and community development in Central Iowa.
A Drake University graduate, Tauscheck worked in radio promotion and broadcast news before joining the CVB. She was named a Forty Under 40 honoree by USAE, a national publication that covers the industry comprised of associations, convention and visitor bureaus and hotels and resorts.
In addition to volunteer work and other accolades, last year, Tauscheck was named the Business Record’s first-ever Meredith Corp. Emerging Woman of Influence. Read a profile on Tauscheck
