77 wordsAll Latest News, Real Estate and DevelopmentThe Foundry at Valley Junction, an 1890s rail car barn and iron foundry, is celebrating the completion of the building’s restoration and its 120th birthday with an open house from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday at the facility located at 111 S. 11th St. in West Des Moines. The building has been transformed into a distillery, food and beverage hall and commissary kitchen. The open house will include live music, tours, giveaways and food truck fare.
