The Weitz Company’s Martling joins the Iowa Business Council
Leonard Martling, president and CEO of The Weitz Company, has joined the Iowa Business Council (IBC), made up of top executives from 21 of Iowa’s largest employers, the three Regent universities and Iowa’s largest banking association. Martling was appointed president and CEO of The Weitz Company in June, and has been with the company for almost 30 years. “He has a distinguished career of service and possesses the kind of visionary thinking that will further the work of the council on behalf of all Iowans,” IBC chair Tom Aller said in a news release.
