The University of Iowa’s Tippie College of Business has begun accepting applications for its new full-time Master of Business Analytics degree program at its Iowa City campus, which will begin in the fall. The program was approved Tuesday by the Iowa Board of Regents and will join a growing portfolio of specialized master’s programs offered by the college, including an already-popular part-time MSBA (Master of Science in Business Analytics) program. That program, first introduced with a graduate-level certificate in 2014, now has approximately 250 students enrolled. It’s offered weeknights at Tippie’s off-campus locations in Cedar Rapids, Des Moines and the Quad Cities. The new program will accommodate demand that the college has had for a full-time program, said Sam Burer, professor and director of the Business Analytics Graduate Program.
