Todd receives national award for community health center advocacy
Aaron Todd, chief strategy officer at the Iowa Primary Care Association, was recently presented with the Betsey K. Cooke Grassroots MVP Award from the National Association of Community Health Centers. Todd received the recognition for his outstanding efforts to ensure that Iowa’s members of Congress actively support health centers, and for his tireless work to establish and expand grassroots advocacy efforts, the organization said in a news release. The award honors the late Elizabeth “Betsey” K. Cooke, an advocate for America’s health centers and health center patients. Todd has held leadership roles with the Iowa Primary Care Association and its affiliated organizations, INConcertCare and IowaHealth+, since 2015, and will become CEO of all three organizations on July 1.
