Des Moines Register: Two weeks after the sale of Meredith Corp., the lifestyle publisher’s former downtown Des Moines headquarters has a bit of a power vacuum. Meredith has informed its employees that CEO Tom Harty retired with the Dec. 1 consummation of New York-based IAC/Interactive’s $2.7 billion purchase of the company. Chief Financial Officer Jason Frierott and National Media Group President Catherine Levene also have left the company, which now is under the leadership of IAC/Interactive’s Dotdash digital publishing arm, renamed Dotdash Meredith. In addition, General Counsel and Chief Development Officer John Zieser, a 21-year veteran of Meredith, will retire on Dec. 17, the company has told employees.
