Lori Bishop, executive director of clinical transformation for UnityPoint at Home, was named to the board of the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization. In her role as a national director, Bishop will support the organization’s mission on behalf of the nation’s hospice and palliative care provider and beneficiary communities. Bishop has spent more than 20 years working in hospice in both rural and urban settings. As executive director of palliative care and hospice, she helped drive the integrated palliative care programs that led to UnityPoint Health being named a Circle of Life Award winner in 2013.
