University of Phoenix opening downtown location
The University of Phoenix will hold a grand opening of its new campus location today in downtown Des Moines.
The new location in the Bank of America Building at 317 Sixth Ave. has three classrooms and a student resources center. It replaces the facility located at 6600 Westown Parkway in West Des Moines.
The celebration will take place from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.
