Urbandale city leadership to host community listening session on race, diversity

111 wordsAll Latest News, Government Policy and LawMayor Bob Andeweg and members of the Urbandale City Council will hold a community listening session on June 25 at 6 p.m. in the Urbandale High School Performing Arts Center. Residents are invited to share their comments on race and diversity in the community. Andeweg will moderate the session, and council members Matt Blake, Bridget Carberry Montgomery, Adam Obrecht, Ron Pogge and David Russell will also be in attendance, the city said in a statement. The city will also livestream the event on the city of Urbandale Facebook page; comments posted to the livestream will not be monitored. Comments may be sent to the mayor and city council by email.
