Urbandale officials plan session to hear residents’ comments on race, diversity

87 wordsAll Latest News, Government Policy and LawUrbandale’s elected officials on Thursday will hold a community listening session to hear residents’ comments on the topics of race and diversity. The session, moderated by Urbandale Mayor Bob Andeweg, will begin at 6 p.m. at the Urbandale High School Performing Arts Center, 7111 Aurora Ave. Council members Matt Blake, Bridget Carberry Montgomery, Adam Obrecht, Ron Pogge, and David Russell will also be at the event. Residents can join the event either online or in person. The session will be livestreamed on the city’s Facebook Page.
