Urbandale Parks & Recreation wants input about the future of Urbandale parks, recreation and open spaces at a community input session to be held Thursday from 7 to 8 p.m. at the Giovannetti Community Shelter. In addition to the community input session, an online survey is available to fill out by today, Nov. 29. The Parks, Recreation and Open Space Master Plan will provide a study of the city’s current park areas to evaluate accessibility, condition and life span of the facilities, as well as help determine future park amenities and facilities desired by the community. Hitchcock Design Group was selected to lead the project.
