Valentine’s Day means Groupon has to say it’s sorry
Groupon made fresh arrangements this weekend for consumers who were upset about a Valentine’s Day flower deal, the New York Post reported. The coupon site and FTD Group are offering refunds after getting complaints that FTD inflated prices for some Groupon customers who used a coupon for $20 off a flower purchase of $40 or more. This is the second time in a week that Groupon has been forced to respond to Internet complaints. The company pulled TV ads that first aired during the Super Bowl when they were criticized on Facebook and Twitter.
