The owner of Iowa's oldest drive-in movie theater, located in Newton, said he's unsure when it'll open for the 2022 season after the property was damaged during March 5's deadly storm.

Des Moines Register: The owner of Iowa’s oldest drive-in movie theater, located in Newton, said he’s unsure when it’ll open for the 2022 season after the property was damaged during March 5’s deadly storm. Jeff Namminga said it isn’t the first time Valle Drive-In has had storm damage, but damage to the screen, concessions building and fence is the worst he’s seen as owner.
