Vermeer, a family-owned industrial and agricultural equipment manufacturing company headquartered in Pella, has announced its partnership with the University of Northern Iowa’s Family Business Center. As a founding family of the program, Vermeer will provide resources to the FBC and have exclusive access to its resources. The company has been actively involved with the FBC since its launch in 2018, providing leadership to peer groups and lending expertise to family-owned businesses, according to a press release. The FBC offers consulting, peer learning, events and networking opportunities to family-owned businesses throughout Iowa and beyond. Vermeer Corp.’s CEO, Jason Andringa, believes that partnering with the FBC is an important way to learn from other family-owned businesses and ultimately drive a stronger business landscape across the state of Iowa.
