Watch video from the Business Record’s first Envision Iowa Think Tank of the year to learn what statewide leaders had to say Thursday during our online forum.
In this discussion, we heard from leaders who are working on a variety of initiatives – in their communities and beyond – to make Iowa a great place for all. Kimberly Elman Zarecor, a professor of architecture at Iowa State University and head of the Rural Shrink Smart Project, kicked off the event. The discussion also included a sneak peek at fresh data from the Bâton Global Envision Iowa Statewide Leaders Economic Sentiment Survey.
What is Envision Iowa?
Envision Iowa is an initiative created by Business Publications Corp. to help Iowa thrive and grow. The initiative includes three interactive think tank events containing a keynote, a panel discussion and interactive virtual networking. The think tanks focus on three key themes necessary for Iowa to advance and grow: people and culture, business opportunities and infrastructure. In addition to ongoing coverage of the think tanks in Business Record and dsm Magazine, the initiative will culminate with a public in-person event in October that will bring together leaders from across the state.
