Viva East Bank wins Community Foundation award
Viva East Bank, a coalition of government, neighborhood and partner organizations seeking to improve three east Des Moines neighborhoods, won the Better Together award at the Greater Des Moines Community Foundation luncheon today. The group, which works in the Capitol East, MLK Jr. Park and Capitol Park neighborhoods, was presented with a $2,500 check.
