Waukee-based payment processing company VizyPay announced it has surpassed $2 billion in credit card payments processed since the company’s launch in 2017. The company, which was ranked No. 45 on the Inc. 5000 list in 2021, said it processed approximately half of those payments, $1.2 billion, in 2021. VizyPay CEO Austin Mac Nab is now projecting the company will process more than $2 billion in payments by the end of this year, to achieve a collective $4 billion in processing. Since 2020, VizyPay has nearly doubled its workforce, now employing 69 full-time employees. The company, which last year moved into a new 15,000-square-foot headquarters building in Waukee, now partners with more than 700 independent sales contractors across the United States. VizyPay tailors its payments program to small to middle-sized businesses.
