Waller appointed to Empower Rural Iowa Initiative

Brian Waller, president of the Technology Association of Iowa, has been appointed by Gov. Kim Reynolds to the Empower Rural Iowa Initiative. Waller has previously held positions as the director of the Chamber of Commerce for downtown Des Moines and manager of business development for Iowa Economic Development Authority. His term is effective until August 2023. “I am honored to serve on the Empower Rural Iowa Initiative and help shape the future of our state by supporting and advocating for rural communities and their leaders,” Waller said. Reynolds signed the Empower Rural Iowa Act in 2019 to support growth and investment among Iowa’s rural communities. Learn more
