Water Works turns over Botanical Gardens
After 9 years of operating the city’s botanical center, the Des Moines Water Works this morning ceremonially turned over the keys to the center to its new operators, The Greater Des Moines Botanical Garden nonprofit group.
The group will preside over expansion of the gardens. which was begun in 2011. For more information about the expansion, click here.
