The West Des Moines Chamber of Commerce announced the community vote winners of the Best of the West Awards, presented by Aureon. The Best of the West Awards, a West Des Moines-focused community vote contest featuring 50 categories, will be presented during an awards gala on Nov. 28 at the Monroe in West Des Moines. A list of all 50 winners can be found here. Participants were able to vote for their favorite people, places and things in West Des Moines once per day until Oct. 31. A portion of all sponsorship proceeds from the Best of the West Awards will directly support the West Des Moines Community Foundation.
