WDM schools invites public to tour career, technical education project at Southwoods
West Des Moines Community Schools will open its $28 million career and technical education renovation and expansion project at Valley Southwoods Freshman High School to the community during an event on May 21. Following a ribbon cutting, attendees can tour classrooms, labs and workshops designed to help Valley Southwoods, Valley High School and Walnut Creek Campus students delve into career pathways such as culinary arts, architecture and construction, manufacturing and engineering technology.
