Wells Fargo Arena beats larger centers in international ranking
Wells Fargo Arena has been ranked No. 61 in the Pollstar Top 100 Worldwide Arena Venues, its highest ranking since its opening in 2005. The arena was No. 30 in the United States for number of tickets sold in 2010. The ranking surpassed several other larger venues, among them the Qwest Center in Omaha, Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minn., the Pepsi Center in Denver and the United Center in Chicago. The rankings are based on tickets sold for live entertainment performances, not including sporting events, during 2010.
