Wells Fargo has announced it is pledging a $150,000 gift in support of Goodwill of Central Iowa’s “Celebrating Our Past, Building Futures” capital campaign. The three-year, $8 million campaign, which was announced in September 2015, supports moving Goodwill’s headquarters and training facility to Johnston from its former location in Des Moines. The new facility at 5355 N.W. 86th St. houses Goodwill’s corporate headquarters, its 19th retail store, a third Career Connection Center, a centralized warehouse and its online store. The 146,000-square-foot facility also has room for expansion of services. Because of Wells Fargo’s gift, Goodwill’s community conference rooms will be named for the company.
