The West Des Moines Historical Society (WDMHS) announced that it will host a trivia night fundraiser from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. March 23 at the RecPlex, 6500 Grand Ave. in West Des Moines, to support the historic Jordan House Museum. All money raised will go directly toward the maintenance and preservation of the museum, which is one of the oldest homes in Central Iowa and was a stop on the Underground Railroad. At the event, teams will compete to answer questions about West Des Moines history, music, movies and geography.
