Wickert named provost at Iowa State
Iowa State University yesterday named Jonathan Wickert as the university’s next senior vice president and provost. Wickert is currently dean of the College of Engineering at Iowa State, a position he has held since 2009.
The appointment, selected by ISU President Steven Leath, is subject to the approval of the Iowa Board of Regents. Pending approval, Wickert will assume his new role on July 30.
He succeeds Elizabeth Hoffman, who announced in February that she will leave the provost position.
