Windsor Heights extended the deadline for applications to the city’s Small Business Recovery Grant Program to July 13 at 4:30 p.m., the city announced on Thursday. The City Council has authorized $25,000 for Windsor Heights businesses deemed ineligible for the Des Moines Partnership Small Business Recovery Grant Program because they had been in operation for less than one year. A maximum of $5,000 per business will be awarded, and businesses must have a physical presence in Windsor Heights. Applications and details are available online; city staff and the Economic Development Committee will review the applications on July 14-15.
