Gov. Kim Reynolds will be signing a proclamation declaring March 23 as “Women in Agriculture Day in Iowa.” This marks the fourth year that Stine Seed Co. has partnered with the Iowa FFA Foundation, the Iowa 4-H Youth Development Program and FarmHer for this initiative. To commemorate the day, Stine is hosting the second annual Iowa Women in Agriculture Day Reception, and attendees are invited to take part. The reception will take place on March 23 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Stine Barn in West Des Moines. Special guests include Wendy Wintersteen, president of Iowa State University and endowed dean of the University’s College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, as well as Stine’s partners in the initiative.
