Women launch philanthropy group
100 Chicks for Charity, a local women’s philanthropy group, will have an introductory meeting at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Proof restaurant, 1301 Locust St. The organization hopes to find 100 or more women to contribute at least $50 four times a year in order to give $20,000 a year to charities in Greater Des Moines.
