In celebration of International Women’s Day, the Junior League of Des Moines will present “Women on Board,” a training conference that will bring together Central Iowa female leaders to build skills and support female representation on local boards and commissions. The conference is a partnership between the Junior League, the Greater Des Moines Leadership Institute, Drake University and Friends of the Iowa Commission on the Status of Women. “Women on Board” will be held March 7 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Drake University. Cost is $10 per person, and lunch is included. Registration is open to the public and can be completed online.
