Women try to raise money for charity
The 100 Chicks for Charity organization will hold its first quarterly meeting on Tuesday from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Jasper Winery, 2400 George Flagg Parkway.
The group’s goal is to get at least 100 people to attend and donate $50 each for a charity that will be voted on at the meeting. Every member can select a charity of their choice to be eligible to receive the donation, and members will be chosen at random to advocate for their chosen charities.
