QUAD CITIES – After job-sharing the leadership duties of The Women’s Connection, Colleen Rafferty and Nancy Renkes are doing one more thing together – stepping down. The Quad-City Times reported the co-executive directors of one of the Quad Cities region’s largest women’s organizations are resigning effective March 31, but agreed to assist through the leadership transition. The nonprofit’s board of directors has started a search for a new full-time executive director. The internal search committee said it wants a candidate with strong leadership qualities, interpersonal and public speaking skills, and organizational skills.
