The Des Moines Executive Women’s Golf Association will host a social and membership drive event on March 7 from 5:30 to 7 p.m.at the Longview Golf Centre in Grimes.

Networking will kick off the event from 5:30 to 6 p.m., with open golf from 6 to 7 p.m. Event cost is $10 and includes ball hitting and a drink ticket.

The Executive Women’s Golf Association is a nonprofit organization formed in 1991 to promote and foster a spirit of acceptance and respect for career-oriented women interested in game of golf. The group has more than 14,000 members nationwide. The Des Moines chapter was founded in 1992 and has grown to more than 70 active members.
