Douglas Workman, director of the Broadlawns Medical Center Primary Care Clinic, was elected as a regional physician delegate and member of the American Hospital Association (AHA) Regional Policy Board.

The Regional Policy Board meets three times a year to discuss policy issues and make recommendations to be used by the AHA Board of Trustee’s in the board’s deliberations.

Workman’s region includes Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota and South Dakota.
