The World Food Prize Foundation is hosting an event today for high school students and teachers who are interested in science, agriculture, engineering and mathematics (STEM) subjects. The event, called the Iowa Youth Institute, is taking place at Iowa State University and is an extension of the World Food Prize Foundation’s existing youth programs. Among speakers at today’s event are ISU President Steve Leath, Pioneer Hi-Bred International Inc. President Paul Schickler, Gov. Terry Branstad and Lt. Gov. Kim Reynolds.
