World Food Prize Foundation to launch DialogueNEXT on Tuesday, with focus on women

The World Food Prize Foundation will launch the inaugural DialogueNEXT on Tuesday in Washington, D.C., with the theme “Seeds of Equity: Women Driving Growth and Innovation in Agriculture.” Celebrating International Women’s History Month, the event will explore the role women play in meeting global food security and agricultural challenges. A series of keynote speeches and conversations will highlight women empowerment and equity, agricultural innovation and technology, and the influence women have in fostering peace through agriculture, according to a news release. U.S. Sen. Joni Ernst and World Food Prize Foundation President Terry Branstad will be among 36 speakers at the event. Featuring a series of worldwide events, DialogueNEXT aims to create a meaningful dialogue that identifies next steps in alleviating global hunger, according to the World Food Prize Foundation website.
