Wright Service Corp. acquires Impact7G

The Wright Service Corp. family of companies announced Wednesday the acquisition of Impact7G Inc., a Johnston-based environmental consultant. The transaction closed on Dec. 29. Wright Service Corp. President and CEO Austin Kennedy said in a press release that acquiring Impact7G marks another step in the company’s strategic plan to “diversify our family of companies and grow our shareholders’ value over the long-term.” “The acquisition of Impact7G is part of our continued focus on expanding environmental sustainability investments that align with Wright Service Corp.’s vision of accelerating growth through acquisition,” Kennedy said in a prepared statement. “Impact7G’s specialized expertise in telecommunications environmental services, health and safety compliance, natural resource restoration, and clean water initiatives will expand the services and talent of our diverse environmental professionals and deliver exceptional value to our clients and partners.” Wright is an employee-owned company with expertise in consulting utility vegetation management, including inspection, auditing, risk mitigation, forest management and reforestation, technology solutions, consulting and operations, commercial environmental services, as well as residential and commercial landscaping and tree care, according to the news release.
